Peggy Lea Chaudion, age 83, of Arcadia, IN passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 at her home.

She was born December 25, 1933 at Bloomington, IN to Rex Clinton and Wanda Pearl (Sturgeon) Harden.

In addition to being a devoted wife and mother and raising six children, she had worked over 25 years at Best Lock Company at Indianapolis.

She was a member of Christian Life Center at Fishers, IN and while in Florida she was a member of First Apostolic Pentecostal Church at Winter Haven. She was a prior member of the Fortville Pentecostal Church.

She greatly enjoyed interacting with her family and friends, working jig saw and crossword puzzles, and reading.

She married Robert William Chaudion on April 22, 1951. He preceded her in death on January 22, 2002. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Tony Wayne Chaudion and a sister: Jacqueline Rae Bussinger.

Survivors include daughters: LaDonna Lynn Brown of Arcadia, IN, Ruth Ann Stringer of Arcadia, IN, Terrie Lea Baker of Camby, IN and Deborah Kay Baker of Atlanta, IN, son: Roger William Chaudion of Noblesville, IN, brother: Cloyd Franklin Harden of Indianapolis, IN, sisters: Julia Esther Balz of Indianapolis, IN and Katherine Lynn Hatcher of Indianapolis, IN, 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034, with Pastor Daniel Beck officiating. Burial will follow at the Cicero Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until time of the services. You may send condolences at www.hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
