Judith Ann Justice, 80, of Englewood, Florida and formerly of Arcadia and Indianapolis, IN, died Friday, September 15, 2017.

She was born December 2, 1936 in Hamilton County, Indiana to Herschel and Ethel (Ridge) Justice. Her parents preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Jackson Central High School with the Class of 1955. She was active in all sports offered for girls during her high school years and went on to play on a semi-pro ladies softball team.

She had worked for several years at Indiana Farmers Mutual Insurance Company and later at Herf Jones Company, both at Indianapolis, IN. She became acquainted with many popular sports figures while at Herf Jones.

Judith moved to Florida in 1990 where she became an active member of East Englewood Christian Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed all sports, her animals, traveling and riding motorcycles.

Surviving her is a sister: Luella (Jerry) Hodges of Englewood, her brother: Denny (Jeanne) Justice of Anderson, IN, neighbor and close friend: Mary Jo Vanwinkle of Englewood and several nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN, 46034 from 1:30 to 3:00 P.M. Burial will occur at Arcadia Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to East Englewood Christian Church or the Humane Society for Hamilton County.
